Request For Proposals
Citywide Tree Inventory, Urban Forestry Management Plan, and Tree Planting
Implementation
City of Belleville
The City of Belleville, Illinois, is seeking proposals from qualified firms with demonstrated
experience in urban forestry, tree inventory data collection, and urban forest management plan
(UFMP) development.
The purpose of this Request For Proposals (RFP) is to solicit and evaluate qualified contractors to:
• Complete a comprehensive citywide tree inventory of approximately 26,000 public trees
on streets, right-of-ways, parks, and public properties;
• Develop an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) based on the completed inventory;
and
• Purchase and plant approximately 200 native trees in disadvantaged census tracts within
Belleville.
Sealed proposals should be marked: “CITYWIDE TREE INVENTORY, URBAN FORESTRY
MANAGEMENT PLAN, AND TREE PLANTING IMPLEMENTATION” and be
submitted no later than Thursday, June 11, 2026, 10:00a.m., at the office of the Belleville
City Clerk, 101 S Illinois Street, Belleville, Illinois. The RFP documents are available at the

Belleville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities and further reserves the right
to reject any and all bids.
