Upgrades to Final Clarifier 1 and 2 90498-003

Project Description: Valley Forge Sewer Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Upgrades to Final Clarifier 1 and 2
The Project includes the following Work:
Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to install and place into operation secondary clarifier mechanisms for Final Clarifier 1 and 2, including, but not limited to, energy dissipating inlet, scum skimmer mechanism, extended scum trough, sludge collection header, density current baffle, effluent weir, scum baffle, RAS adapter, pressure relief valves, electrical power and clarifier controls, and structural repair and coatings.
Separate Bids will be received for the General Construction (2026-01-G) and Electrical Construction (2026-01-E) Contracts.
The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to the Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the Act and pay the prevailing wage rate for each job classification in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
In accordance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act 127, all contractors and subcontractors, as a precondition to receiving a contract on Public Works Projects (defined under the Prevailing Wage Act), are to fully comply with the Act through utilization of the Federal E-Verify Program (EVP) operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
The Valley Forge Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
