APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This is a Sources Sought, NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP).
This Sources Sought will be utilized for market research purposes to assist with the planning and potential procurement of Alaska Range Combat Training Integrated Communications and Support (ARCTICS) II for the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). In-depth description of services may be found in the draft ARCTICS II Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached. Please note, this is a draft PWS and is subject to change throughout acquisition planning.
The projected service start date is on/about January 2029.
The Government seeks industry comments in regards to the PWS. The responses/feedback received in response to this notice will be used to identify and resolve concerns regarding the acquisition strategy to include feasibility of the requirement, commerciality, and industry standards.
Specific responses to the questions below are requested:
1. Company Information: Name, address, telephone number, point of contact name(s), e-mail address(es), UEI and CAGE code, business size.
2. Do the paragraphs as written in the PWS provide clear and concise instructions for the tasks to be performed? Provide any questions.
3. Does your company have an approved cost accounting system?
4. Are there additional costs that should be considered? If so, what? Identify/provide feedback on any potential performance, schedule, or price/cost risks anticipated. Discuss options the Government should consider to mitigate those risks.
5. Any other comments and/or questions.
