MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC MARKINGS PAINTING AND REFLECTIVE TRAFFIC LINE PAINTING

The Town of Shrewsbury invites sealed bids for Miscellaneous Traffic Markings Painting and Reflective Traffic Line Painting on road surfaces at various locations to be completed by October 15, 2026. All contractors must submit bids in conformance with this Invitation for Bids and the related documents attached hereto. The related documents are also available in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury. Town Offices are open Mon, Wed, Thu 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Tue 8:00 AM-6:30 PM; and Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.

All Contractors must be pre-qualified through the Massachusetts Department of Transportation with the class of work as PAVEMENT MARKINGS with an estimated value of $95,413.00.

This Invitation for Bids shall be governed by the requirements of MGL Chapter 30, § 39M.

Bids will be received in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury, MA until 1PM on August 11, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.

Bids must be sealed and marked “Bid for Misc. Traffic Markings and Reflective Traffic Line Painting” with the bidder’s name and address clearly noted.

A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany the Bid and be made payable to the Town of Shrewsbury.

The Town reserves the right to waive any minor informalities in the bids and to reject any and all bids if it shall be deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
