This information will carry forward to a contract if awarded, therefore please ensure all information is correct. ****************************************************** 300 Pieces of 30' Rails KYTC District 6 - Campbell County Maintenance Storage Facility 9615 Alexandria Pike Alexandria, KY 41001 USED RAILROAD RAIL 130-136 POUNDS PER LINEAR YARDSTRUCTURAL GRADE.EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, MATERIAL WILL CONFORM TO ALL REQUIREMENTS OF THE KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, 2019 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION REFERENCES ARE TO BE STANDARD SPECS.MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS 130-136 POUNDS PER YARD OF LENGTH. ALL RAIL SHALL BE STEEL, STRAIGHT AND STRUCTURALLY SOUND.DELIVERY WILL BE PREPAID TO THE SPECIFIED LOCATION. KYTC will also accept 140 and 141# rail as well with the base of the 130-136#. Vendor shall provide rails with a hole cut near the end of the rail for picking/lifting with a shackle and pin mechanism.
