Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Rutland Keywords: Construction (Building), Construction (Non Building), Water Treatment Bid Description: Improvements to the water system, including waterline installation via directional drilling method, water treatment building construction, hydropneumatic tank replacement, chlorine analyzer, Ion exchange system for radium, drywell for ion exchange backwash, 5-micron particle filters, telemetry controls improvements, dehumidification/air handling, booster pump replacement, and site improvements. This project is funded in part through the Vermont Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. Consequently, the following provisions apply to this WORK (more detail for each of these provisions can be found in Instruction to Bidders): 1. Bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. 2. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements. 3. Performance BOND and Payment BOND each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. 4. American Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions of P.L. 113-76, Consolidated Appropriations Act. 5. Federal Wage Rates as determined under the Davis-Bacon Act. 6. This agreement is for services related to a project that is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (“IIJA”), Pub. L. 177-58. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States, as further outlined by the Office of Management and Budget’s Memorandum M-22-11,Initial Implementation Guidance on Application of Buy America Preference in Federal Financial Assistance Programs for Infrastructure, April 18,2022. This Project has quali?ed for an Adjustment Period Waiver to BABAA for the entire Project. 7. Project Signage. 8.
