Separate sealed bids for the Kennett College Street Sidewalk TAP Project, TAP-3600(009), to serve the City of Kennett will
be received by the Kennett Mayor at the Kennett City Hall, until 10:00 A.M., on April 28th, 2026 and then at said office
publicly opened and read aloud. The address of the City Hall is listed above, and located at 200 Cedar St, Kennett, MO 63857.
The project shall consist of:
The project will install a sidewalk along the western side of College Street in Kennett. The 5' wide sidewalk will span from
North Street northward along College Street, terminating at Liberty Street.

The DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) contract goals for the amount of work to be awarded for the Kennett College
Street Sidewalk TAP Project, is 0% of the total project price. The bidder shall also complete the DBE Identification Submittal
forms in accordance with the General Provisions. Missouri Law, 292.675 RSMO, requires any awarded contractor and its
subcontractor(s) to provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety Program
for their on-site employees.
The Owner must award the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, however the owner may reject all bids. All
bidders are required to use the pre-qualification process outlined by MoDOT. See the Missouri Standard Specifications for
Highway Construction, Section 102 for additional information. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount,
form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days
after the actual date of the bid opening.
The City Kennett of hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded
full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color,
religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
