CAMBRIDGE HOUSING AUTHORITY Request for Proposals for Architecture/Engineering Services

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking the services of up to five (5) qualified

design teams to provide professional planning, design, and construction administration services

in connection with Select Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Services at Cambridge

Housing Authority Developments and Affiliated and Client Sites.

Work under this contract will be identified and performed on an on-going basis until the fee’s

upset limit is reached. Upon identification of a priority modernization project by the CHA, the

design team shall evaluate the project and attend a task order discussion session with the CHA.

The design team shall then submit a detailed proposal for that specific project including the

scope of work, the process/methodology and specific tasks to be undertaken, staff assignment, a

fee proposal based on the attached fee schedule and hourly rates negotiated at the time of

execution of a contract with the awarded firm(s), and timetable. Upon approval of the task order

by the CHA, the design team will proceed with design work and construction administration of

the specific capital improvement project.
