Description:
|
|
The City of Poughkeepsie seeks proposals from licensed professional engineer, or architect licensed to practice in New York State to develop a set of waterfront design guidelines and standards for the Fall Kill Blueway. This initiative aims to enhance neighborhood resilience, improve ecosystem health, and provide accessible public spaces along the Fall Kill Creek. The project will focus on five key sites throughout the city, each representing common creek edge conditions that will inform comprehensive design and management strategies. The preliminary designs of these sites will serve as the basis for a set of design and stormwater management guidelines, standards, and recommendations applicable across similar conditions throughout the city and beyond, promoting a cohesive identity and resilience strategy.
