Contract: 700 Block Kootenay Street Sidewalk

The Village of New Denver invites tenders for the construction of sidewalk along the 700 Block of Kootenay Street. The project will also include new curb/gutter/sidewalk at the Kootenay Street intersection with 6 th Avenue (Highway 31A). A summary of specific work items includes the following (approx. quantities):
Installation of approximately 330 sqm of concrete sidewalk and 55m of concrete curb with gutter.
Construction of a 25m long (approximate) by 1m tall (maximum) cast-in-place reinforced concrete landscaping wall.
Installation of 3 catchbasins and 1 storm drywell.
Surface restorations including boulevard grading and road reconstruction (including asphalt paving).
Installation of traffic signs and paint markings.

Tenderers are encouraged to attend an optional informational meeting scheduled for Tuesday April 29th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the project site.
