DESCRIPTION: 1" ACSC, TYPE S9.5B FOR PAVEMENT PRESERVATION
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for paving,
pavement markings & traffic control type work in Iredell County. The Contractor is
to furnish labor, material, equipment and traffic control:
CONTRACT TIME:
The availability date for this contract will be June 1, 2026.
The completion date for this contract will be May 28, 2027.

Sealed bids must be received in the Division Engineer's Office, located at 1710 E. Marion
Street, Shelby, N.C. 28152, by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Bids must be
submitted electronically through the approved electronic bidding provider as detailed in
the Instructions to Bidders. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project.

responsibility to keep themselves informed of any changes that may occur.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title
VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of
Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders
that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be
