Flowserve and Invent Environmental Pumps, Parts and Controls

Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with Carter & Verplanck Inc. for the provision of Flowserve Pump Company and Invent Environmental Technologies Inc pumps, parts and controls products.

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

Per correspondence from Flowserve, dated January 2, 2025, Carter & Verplanck is the sole source for Flowserve pumps and parts in the water resources market for Florida for all new and replacement unit needs. Per correspondence from Invent Environmental Technologies, Inc, dated January 27, 2025, Carter & Verplanck is the sole and exclusive representative for Invent in the state of Florida.

Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
