Overview

Summary

Greenville County is requesting sealed bids for the Sharon Drive Culvert Replacement according to the specifications attached to this IFB.

Background

During Tropical Storm Helene the existing 72" CMP at this location overtopped the roadway and washed out the road and backfill around the culvert. The County wishes to replace it with a 6'H x 10'W x42'L precast box culvert, wingwalls on poured in place footers, and poured in place aprons with toe downs. Riprap with geotextile fabric and erosion control blankets will be installed on each end of the culvert.

The washout location is on Sharon Drive in Greer between Ansel School Road and Memorial Drive Extension. The nearest address is 215 Sharon Drive. The project occupies County right-of-way and private property.
