The City of Irving is advertising this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Statement of Qualification (SOQ) from qualified firms with an active physical office established within Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, or Collin Counties. The City is seeking professional services for specific categories of Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) construction projects and other public improvement construction projects. Qualified firms may choose to be considered for a maximum of three (3) categories, which are listed below.

a) MATERIALS TESTING/GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING

b) SURVEYING

c) WATER AND WASTEWATER (NEW AND REHABILITATION)

d) ROADWAYS (NEW AND REHABILITATION)

e) TRAFFIC ENGINEERING/STREET LIGHTING

f) DRAINAGE FACILITIES, HYDRAULICS & HYDROLOGY/FLOODWAY

g) ENVIRONMENTAL/TEXAS POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM

h) STRUCTURAL

i) GENERAL ENGINEERING

j) PROGRAM / PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The City of Irving plans to select qualified firm(s) for the above services in accordance with the Professional Services Procurement Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 2254. The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit qualifications from firms that have the experience, capability, and track record to provide the professional services indicated. This solicitation does not establish an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. There may be existing IDIQ contracts with the City for small, recurring projects that will not overlap with these services. This RFQ is to narrow down the pool of qualified vendors for specific upcoming solicitations and does not guarantee any minimum amount of work.

There will be no pre-submittal conference in conjunction with this RFQ.
A public opening will be held via TEAMS.  Please see the Activities tab for further details.
