City of Dexter (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Drinking Water Distribution System Improvements
KWO Grant Agreement No. 26-2881-137
SE Project No. 24.4.0052
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Dexter City Office located at 115 S. Main Street, Dexter, Kansas 67038, until Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Project includes the installation of 2”, 4”, and 6” PVC water main, including both short and long service line reconnects, 2”, 4” and 6” Gate Valves, 2-way and 3-way fire hydrants, flush hydrants, and related appurtenances with various street and 2 KDOT highway crossings.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Drinking Water Distribution System Improvements
The Project has an expected duration of 330 days.

Bidding Documents may be seen or purchased for a Non-Refundable fee on-line at the designated website in the eDistribution plan room. Additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com . Information regarding this project can be found in the “Public Jobs” link on the website. Contractors desiring the Contract Documents for use in preparing bids may also obtain a set of such documents from Drexel Technologies; 10840 West 86th Street, Lenexa, KS 66214, telephone number is 913-371-4430. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.
Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
