The Program Manager Ground Weapons Systems (PM GWS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), seeks industry input to identify the availability and sourcing of the Bombardier Recreational Product (BRP) Evinrude 55 Multi-Fuel Engine.
The outboard marine engine requirements are as follows:
• 55 Horsepower
• 20” Shaft length
• Manual start
• Two-stroke fuel-injected
• Capable of burning gasoline, JP-5 and JP-8
• Pump jet
• Less than 280 lbs.
• Capable of starting after rollover and complete immersion/submersion in water of three-foot depth for 30 minutes
