Description

The Grid Modernization Project includes the construction of a new 138kV-25kV Substation near the Antigonish Walmart and construction of two new 25kV distribution circuits to interconnect TOA’s existing distribution system with the new substation and additions to existing distribution lines.
The Contractor is expected to prepare a “turn-key” proposal for assembly and testing of the transformers, including provision of trained personnel, equipment operators, all tools and equipment, consumables and incidental items required to complete the work and document for record. This includes but is not limited to: crane(s), manlift(s), forklift(s) and portable generators, lighting equipment, hazardous materials spill kits, dumpsters and construction trailers. The cost of delivery and returning rental equipment must be included in the Contractor’s proposal.
