On-Call Snow and Debris Removal

Project Description: The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (Metro) owns their own fleet vehicles that are equipped for plowing snow and spreading salt on primary roadways. In larger snowfalls, this equipment may not be enough to plow neighborhood streets within an acceptable time frame. In the event of a storm or a declared emergency condition that is beyond the heavy-duty transportation capabilities of the Metro. We are establishing an on-call list of contractors that may provide these services with additional equipment and drivers needed to supplement Metro government crews and equipment.
