Waste Disposal & Recycle Collection Services

The Town of Spiritwood (“Owner”), is soliciting written responses (the “Bid”) through this Request for Bids (“RFB”) to provide curbside collection and processing services of waste, and recycling for 5 years, effective March 1, 2025.

The Contractor's (or Sub-Contractor) scope of services shall include, but not be limited to, the following;

* Work shall not proceed until authorized by the Owner to do so;

• Attendance at Owner meetings if required;

• Administer all submissions to Multi-Material Stewardship Western;

• Obtain a Town of Spiritwood Business license annually and any necessary permits;
• Engagement of subcontractors directly & plan and execute a transition plan, as necessary;
• Curbside (bi-weekly) residential collection services of waste and recycle (based on 400 homes);
• Commercial bin collection services of waste and recycle;
• Processing, & cart and bin management services.

The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted and the Town of Spiritwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.

Bid Forms shall be submitted with signatures and should be accompanied by Contractor’s General Liability, Vehicle Insurance and WCB Clearance letter.

Offers shall be submitted n a SEALED envelope clearly stating: Waste Disposal & Recycle Collection - Town of Spiritwood, and will be received by the Town of Spiritwood, c/o Rhonda Saam. Box 460, SK, S0J 2M0 until 1:00pm CST, January 6, 2025.
