This project, located in Frederick County, is for the installation of J-Turns and associated acceleration and deceleration improvements on US 15 at the intersection of Angleberger Road and Auburn Road.
The scope of this project includes the installation of a J-Turn treatment, prohibiting left-turn movements from minor roads and redirecting left-turning traffic from Angleberger Road and Auburn Road to a location away from the intersection. Other intersection improvements include upgrading acceleration and deceleration lanes, improving existing turning movements, allowing for crossing bicycles and drainage and stormwater management (SWM) improvements.
