Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs)

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (the “Aviation Authority”) invites qualified, experienced, and innovative firms to engage in a negotiation process to provide the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of twelve upscale Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs).

Each Respondent shall be responsible for all legal costs in defending any non-disclosure of confidential or trade secret information designated by the Respondent.

The Aviation Authority’s objective for this Solicitation is to provide exciting, innovative, modern, and visually appealing Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs) that exceed the expectations of the modern traveler and positions Orlando International Airport as a lively, exceptional, and memorable destination between destinations. These RMUs will support a variety of small business concepts and enable them to maximize their revenues while remaining true to the Orlando Experience and advancing Orlando and the surrounding region as the premier intermodal transportation gateway for global commerce.

This project is part of the Airport's strategic plan with a focus on people, connection, community, innovation and modernizing the look and feel through elevating the quality and offerings in the airport complex. The Aviation Authority’s objective for this Solicitation is to provide the design, build, delivery and installation of new Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs) that reflect a true sense of Central Florida, with nods to the regional ecosystem, such as flora, fauna, water and wonder, while providing amenities and conveniences that exceed expectations of the modern traveler.
