STATEMENT OF WORK
U. S. COAST GUARD HEALY STEAM TRAP SURVEY
In addition to the Steam traps per the drawing referenced in this paragraph, there are also Steam traps to be surveyed per Spirax Sarco DWG S000301, Humidifier Units (Table 14-H) (Table 9-A), and USCG 420-WAGB-535-008 STEAM AND CONDENSATE MODS FOR OWS INSTALLATION. These traps are included within the 300 Qty stated above.
Once survey is complete, Submit a CFR of findings from inspections with recommendations. Customer will install replacements as recommended
Locating and identifying all accessible steam traps onboard with a ships force representative to assist with steam system alignment.
Tagging of all steam traps with stainless steel tags as required
Steam Trap Testing shall include Verify trap operation with ultrasonic leak detector, Scope failed traps for upstream and downstream requirements (iso valves, strainers, etc.)
Steam Trap Survey Report Shall include Steam loss analysis, statistical report of traps surveyed w/ steam losses and pressures, report of failed traps: failed open, closed, isolated and rapid cycle, cost of failed traps, Misapplied or incorrect installations, inventory report of installed traps based on operating unit w/ recommended replacements
Total cost of ownership based on cost of steam, trap population and survey results.

1.1.5.1 Any questions regarding scope of work shall be directed at the Contracting Officer.
1.3 Hours of Operation
1.3.1 The contractor must perform the tasks as required by the SOW under this contract during the following hours: Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 7:00pm unless other time is specified. Contractor is required to pay for meals at vendors expense. Visitor berthing shall be provided by the ship for the duration of the SOW.

1.4 Award
It is the governments’ intent to make award based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offered through issuance of a firm fixed price contract.
1.4.1. Under FAR 4.1103, a prospective contractor shall be registered in System Award Management (SAM) prior to the award. Failure for the contractor to be registered in (SAM) shall result in Contracting Officer proceeding with the next successful registered offeror. Website: www.sam.gov
SECTION 2 – GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES
Government shall provide power and staff while conducting steam survey for the duration of the SOW.
SECTION 3 – CONTRACTOR FURNISHED ITEMS AND SERVICES
Except for those items, services, or commodities specifically stated in section 3 as government furnished, the contractor must furnish everything needed to furnish this contract according to all its terms.
