Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract from prequalified bidders are invited for the following work:
Contractor shall provide all the labor, materials and equipment associated with the demolition and replacement work to refurbish student rooms, lounges, corridors, and lobbies in De Neve’s Acacia and Birch residential buildings. The project will refresh walls, ceiling, and floor finishes in the student rooms and common areas. The student rooms will receive new paint, vinyl plank flooring, wall base, and hardened wall panels and corner guards in select areas of high impact. The common areas, including lounges, lobbies and hallways, will receive new flooring including wall base, corner guards and wall finishes. The work will be divided into two (2) phases: Phase 0 – Preparation of submittals, receipt of University's approval and material procurement. Phase 1 - Acacia and Birch Buildings perform all work included in project. The University currently anticipates Phase 1 to begin no sooner than June 15, 2026 and to be completed by August 29, 2026.
