The project is generally described as the replacement of eleven laboratory fume hoods. The rooftop mounted conditioning and makeup air handling unit will be replaced, along with consolidation of the independent exhaust fans into an energy recovery glycol system with dual redundant exhaust fans. The new exhaust system will be variable exhaust air flow based on fume hood sash position.
