1. Project Overview

Chattahoochee County School District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for remodeling the Chattahoochee County Middle High School. The scope of work will include new interior painting and the removal and installation of new flooring.

2. Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

Painting:

Preparation of walls, trim, and ceilings as needed (including patching, sanding, priming).

Application of high-quality, low-VOC paint in colors approved by the district.

Cleanup and removal of all paint-related materials after completion.

Flooring:

Removal of existing flooring and proper disposal in accordance with local regulations.

Preparation of subfloor as needed.

Installation of new flooring (type and color to be selected by the district).

Installation of baseboards or transitions as needed.

Cleanup and removal of debris upon completion.

3. Project Requirements

Work must comply with all local building codes, safety regulations, and district policies.

Contractors must be licensed, insured, and provide proof of workers' compensation coverage.

Work must be scheduled to minimize disruption to normal school operations.

All products used must be durable, easy to maintain, and suitable for a school environment.

4. Proposal Requirements

All proposals must include:

Detailed Project Plan: Estimated timeline, work schedule, and approach.

Cost Breakdown: Itemized cost of materials, labor, and any other expenses.

References: At least three recent projects of similar size and scope.

8. Additional Information

The district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to negotiate with any contractor deemed to be in the best interest of the district.
