Description
Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) requires the professional services of environmental firms that specialize in the field of contaminated sites to provide a variety of environmental services related to the management of contaminated sites in the province of Ontario.
INTRODUCTION
The Regional Office of Environmental Coordination (ROEC) within Real Property and Environmental Management (RPEM) division of DFO – Ontario and Prairie (O&P) Region, undertakes and manages environmental projects including environmental site assessment, site characterizations, risk assessment, and remediation on property under the jurisdiction of DFO-Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) located in the Province of Ontario. These projects are collectively called Environmental Services within the frame of this Statement of Work and involve the assessment, remediation and management of contaminants in soil, sediment, air, surface water, groundwater, and/or plant and animal tissues.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
The objective of the Standing Offer (SO) is to provide technical and project management services related to contaminated sites in the province of Ontario on an "as and when requested" basis. This includes, but is not limited to, environmental site assessments, risk assessment, risk management, remediation and requirements for closure of land-based and aquatic contaminated sites. Successful Contractors will have significant regulatory experience within the federal framework, as well as the Ontario provincial framework, and experience working on terrestrial and aquatic sites.

PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer will be from the date of Standing Offer issuance to five(5) years later.
