CITY OF SEQUIM
2026 CURB RAMP REPLACEMENT PROJECT
PROJECT NO: STR-072CU
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the undersigned at the City of
Sequim, 152 West Cedar St, Sequim, Washington 98382, up to 2:00 p.m.; local time on
Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment,
tools, and guarantees thereof to construct the 2026 Curb Ramp Replacement Project. This
contract calls for replacement of 46 curb ramps, curb and gutter, installation of stormwater
infrastructure, installation of RRFB’s, striping, and related asphalt restoration on select city
streets. The Engineer’s Estimate range is $925,000 to $1,025,000. The work locations
include but are not limited:
N 5th Ave
Garry Oak Drive at W Hendrickson Rd
N 7th Ave at W Hendrickson Rd, W Fir St, & W Alder loop
All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract
Provisions, Contract Plans and Standard Specifications for this project and any addenda
issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, 152 W Cedar St, Sequim, WA
98382. Bidders may obtain a copy of the Contract Provisions, Plans and Bid Proposal
Form, free of charge, in electronic format (PDF via email) along with registration as a plan-
holder through the City of Sequim Public Works Office. Requests or ques tions pertinent
to the bidding the contract and are not answered by the information contained in the
Contract Provisions, Plans, and Specifications, should be submitted in written from via
email to may be emailed to (engineering@sequimwa.gov).
Bid Proposals are to be submitted only on the Proposal Form provided to registered plan-
holders. All Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check,
money order, or bid bond payable to the “City of Sequim” and in an amount of not less
than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The City of Sequim expressly reserves the
right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to
Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the
interests of the City.
The City of Sequim, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights
Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby
notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into
pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded
full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in
consideration for an award.
