Description
TITLE: Mowing, Trimming and Weeding Davis Bayou Area
LOCATION: Gulf Islands National Seashore, Ocean Springs, Mississippi
2026 Season Schedule (APR 1, 2026 - OCT 14, 2026)
BASE PERIOD (15 BI-WEEKLY CYCLES - EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY) PLUS UP TO FOUR OPTION PERIODS

The National Park Service has a requirement for effective grounds maintenance. Work consists of all labor, supervision, equipment, fuel, transportation, tools and supplies necessary to satisfy requirements for regular lawn care and other tasks to upkeep of outdoor public spaces and continuously beautify the natural landscape, protects and preserves native vegetation, and maintains walkways for safe recreational use. NPS seek Vendor capable of bi-weekly Mowing, Trimming and Weeding at various sites:
Area 1, Picnic Area (Approx. 10 Acres)
Area 2, Campground Area (Approx. 4 Acres)
Area 3, Ranger Residence and Public Boat Launch Area (Approx. 4 Acres)
Area 5, Visitor Center Area (Approx. 8 Acres)
Area 7, Roadsides (Approx. 4 Acres)
SOLICITING PROCESS: The West MABO will use simplified acquisition procedures and solicit RFQ directly from sources within the local trade area. If interested in quoting and receiving consideration, please email andre_ward@nps.gov with a firm intent on or before Feb 26, 2026. At a minimum, include Business Name and POC email address to solicit RFQ. Solicitation will be released on or about MAR 2, 2026, directly to sources within the local trade area capable of satisfying NPS requirements.

BASIS OF AWARD: Price and other factors. Contracting offices may conduct comparative evaluations of offers. Formal evaluation plans and establishing a competitive range, conducting discussions, and scoring quotations or offers are not required.
