Project Description: The project consists of partial demolition of the existing Tooele County Jail facility, primarily involving removal of the existing two-level jail wing and associated support spaces. The majority of the existing administration portion of the facility will remain.
Work includes selective demolition, removal of structural and architectural components, and modifications to the remaining building where impacted by demolition. This includes, but is not limited to, structural stabilization, preparation of remaining building elements for new exterior finishes, and coordination of all related improvements to adjacent construction.
The contractor will be responsible for all required permitting and regulatory compliance, including coordination with Tooele City and obtaining the required demolition notification/permit through the Utah Department of Air Quality (DAQ).
