The School Committee of Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School District hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for providing Student Transportation Services. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the office on or after Monday November 3 2025 at 10.00 a.m.
A Mandatory Pre-Bidders meeting will be held on Wednesday November 19 2025 at 2.30 p.m. in the John P. Miller Conference Room.
Questions regarding the intent or meaning of the specifications shall be submitted in writing no later than Tuesday December 2 2025 at 10.00 a.m. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum shall not relieve any bidder from any obligation under his bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract document. Verbal information regarding specifications will not be given.
Sealed bids will be received until Wednesday December 10 2025 at 1.00 p.m. in the Office of the Superintendent-Director 100 Cook Street Billerica MA 01821. The anticipated contract term is three years with two one-year options for a maximum term of five years commencing on July 1 2026. The District reserves the right prior to contract award to determine the length of the initial contract term and each option to renew if any.
It is the intent of the Awarding Authority to award a contract within thirty business days after the bid opening. All submissions will be binding for sixty days subsequent to the time of the opening of proposals. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School District Committee reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof to waive defects in same or to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School District an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer.
