Description

The project will require the proponent to conduct a Socio-economic Environmental Analysis (SEEA) of British Columbia’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). The socio aspect will include an equity analysis using the Gender Bases Analysis Plus (GBA+) and an Indigenous Gender Based Analysis Plus (IGBA+) frameworks. The economic aspect will include a qualitative description and quantification of the financial and economic costs and benefits. The environmental aspect will include a qualitative description, quantification and valuation of environmental benefits, primarily greenhouse gas emission reductions.
