Solicitation Description:

Texas A&M University, Mays Business School (Mays), is accepting proposals and intends to enter into an agreement with a qualified extended reality (XR), virtual production, or broadcast services vendor. The selected vendor will provide consultation, design, procurement, installation, initial content and curriculum production, and initial operation of our inaugural extended reality stage located in College Station, Texas. Proposals shall adhere to the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

As part of its commitment to innovation in online graduate business education, Mays Business School seeks an integration partner to bring its vision for immersive learning to life. The inaugural Mays Flex XR Stage will feature a state-of-the-art extended reality environment, equipped with advanced LED panels and cutting-edge technologies. This stage will serve as both a transformational educational tool and a prototype for a larger installation of 6-8 Flex XR Stages, currently in the programming phase as part of the Mays Business Education Complex. These additional stages, planned to expand Mays' capacity to deliver innovative online learning experiences at scale, will be part of a separate bid process within the next 2 to 4 years.

The selected partner will help Mays design and install advanced LED wall and LED floor technologies, along with systems for production, post-production, augmented reality (AR), visual effects (VFX), and live broadcasting. Located in the Teaching & Learning Innovation Team suite at Two Research Park, College Station, Texas, this hub will elevate Mays’ online programs, enabling transformative learning environments that prepare students for success in the global business landscape.
