Solicitation Document Description: 1.1        Introduction
The City of Toronto, Parks, & Recreation Division is inviting tenders for the Sate of Good Repair and Rehabilitation of Seneca Hill park Tennis court located at 619, Seneca Hill Drive, North York, ON. Road North York, Toronto.
This RFT is an invitation by the City to prospective Suppliers to submit bids for the performance of the Work, as further described in Part 3 (DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS) and the Contract (the "Project").
Specific Conditions for Procurement: The Supplier must have the following experience in order to be considered for award of the Contract:
1.        The Supplier must attach a copy of their Articles of Incorporation in SAP Ariba, under Section 4.3.3.1. as proof that the Supplier is a General Contractor and has been in business as such continuously since or prior to January 1, 2015.

2.        Project Experience / Comparable Projects
1.        The Supplier must provide three (3) reference projects for the purpose of confirming the Supplier’s experience and track record of success. The Supplier is to ensure reference contact details, such as telephone numbers and email addresses, are validated prior to bid submission. The Supplier must verify that all Projects Owner contact information provided is accurate and valid before submission. Failure to do so may jeopardize the bid submission, rendering it non-complaint. The contact information will be used to verify Supplier’s experience with Similar Projects. Failure to provide verifiable experience shall result in the bid being declared non-compliant.
2.        The Supplier must have completed (including testing and commissioning), and must have achieved Substantial Completion within the meaning of the Construction Act for three (3) projects within the last five (5) years as General Contractor involving new/replacement of Multicourt Tennis court for a Municipality or Similar Public Agency which includes site grading, paving, site servicing, lighting and fencing, delivered according to schedule requirements having a minimum dollar value of $1,000,000.00 CAD for each project (excluding taxes).

.3 The assigned construction site superintendent must upload a copy of his/her curriculum vitae (CV) in SAP Ariba, under Section 4.3.4.1 which must demonstrate they have supervised a minimum of two (2) projects involving tennis court replacement/installation and restoration of existing surfaces, in the last five (5) years. Failure to provide this information will result in the bid being declared non- compliant.

3.        Qualification Requirements
a. Current Certificate of Recognition (COR®) or equivalent OHS Certification
Each Supplier shall acquire and upload a copy of a valid Certificate of Recognition (COR®) or Equivalent OHS Certification in the legal name of the Supplier or in the case of a joint Bid, for, and in the name of, each member of the Joint Bid Team.

Pre-Bid Meeting: Optional Site Meeting
.1        Suppliers are encouraged to attend a site meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project and ascertain the full extent of the Work required. The optional site meeting will take place at 619 Seneca Hill Drive, North York local time on Friday March 14, 2025 at 11:00. A.M, Toronto. Site meetings will not be available at any other times.
.2        Suppliers should sign the attendance sheet during the designated date and time of the site meeting.
.3        Questions must be sent to Senior Corporate Buyer Wanda Luo in writing. A record of questions and answers from emails as deemed will be distributed in the form of an addendum and posted on the City’s online call documents system. The City reserves the right not to answer questions at the Site Meeting but will answer questions that arise at the Site Meeting as part of an Addendum.
