Letter of intent to sole source (Xylem FLYGT Pump)

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Brown & Morrison, Limited, 14201 S lakes DR STE D, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273-7708 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available under restrictive rights and exclusive licensing agreements.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.

This requirement is the purchase of two (2) FLYGT Submersible Pumps, Part Number: PL 7020.090-443-40hp/460V/3 manufactured by Xylem. The pump will be used to lift sludge collection from secondary clarifiers to be returned to the treatment process at the Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 12:00 PM EDST, 4 December 2024.
