Project Description: Sealed bids for the 2026 Library Heat Pump Replacement project consisting of the replacement of existing heat pumps within the Manheim Township Public Library, located at 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601, will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available end of business day, same date.
Copies of Bidding Documents for the 2026 Library Heat Pump Replacement project are available online and at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
NOTE: The Commissioners of Manheim Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners.
A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Manheim Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with his bid.
A nonmandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Manheim Township Public Library, located at 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.
Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
The Contract Time for this project is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days.
Manheim Township Commissioners reserve the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
