Project Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids or proposals for the construction of approximately 12,235 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances, including about 20 service connections to water mains, and road/site restoration, will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) by:

until 10:00 AM prevailing time, Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at which time they will be electronically opened.
The Bids will be received for the following Contract:

NORTHERN WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS
Sets of the Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained on the PennBid website.
All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Doylestown Township Municipal Authority in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security.
The Doylestown Township Municipal Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
NONDISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act No. 222. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these enactments are explained in the Specifications.
Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
