Fire alarm inspection, maintenance, and monitoring (KEALRM28SB)

MDOT SHA Chestertown invites qualified fire alarm companies with 5+ years of experiance to inspect, repair, and monitor the fire alarm system at 615 Morgnec Rd, Chestertown, MD 21620 over a period of 3 years.  There are two, seperate systems at this address.  One system is within the maintenance shop buildings in the back of the lot.  The second system is within the D2 Office at the front of the building.  Edwards brand system.

The price form establishes yearly monitoring rate for system.  2 systems.  Billable once per year per system for 3 years.  6X total monitoring fees.  There is a separate line items for inspecting the maintenance shop system and the D2 Office system because they're different size systems.  Please invoice monitoring, inspection, and repair to each system to the procurement officer in each building.  Most repairs will be schedule at your convenience.  Twice during the last contract, SHA needed emergency, weekend, or evening repairs, which has a separate line item to reflect the different cost of this service.

There is a flat fee for inspection of each building and monitoring.  Please do not add any additional labor hours, mileage fees, gasoline surcharges, minimums, or additional fees not found on the price form.  Your invoice should match the price form line-item by line item.

Specific rates are estiablished for replacing system components.  For miscealaneous materials and supplies like wiritng and conduit, these are to be invoiced at reasonable manufacturer suggested retail pricing.

Vendors are welcome to tour both facilities Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3PM.  Conducting a facility tour helps vendors better understand what you're bidding on, but does not affect our selection of the winning bidder.
