Full RFP Name: Greater MN Waste Reduction, Reuse, Recycling and Composting Grants
The 2023 Minnesota Legislature allocated funding for waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting grants in Greater MN under Minn. Stat. § 115A.565 for Fiscal Year 2025 through June 30, 2027. For purposes of this RFP, recycling is defined per Minn. Stat. § 115A.03 as the process of collecting and preparing recyclable materials and reusing the materials in their original form or using them in manufacturing processes that do not cause the destruction of recyclable materials in a manner that precludes further use.
Funds are for projects that focus on best practices for recycling or composting collection systems.
