Project Description: Murray City is soliciting bids for Project No. 26-03, Winchester PRV Replacement. The project includes construction of a new pressure reducing valve near East Winchester Street and State Street, along with associated pipeline improvements. Work includes installation of two PRVs, 6-inch and 12-inch, designed to operate within the pressures and flow rates identified in the specifications. The project also requires approximately 400 linear feet of ductile iron pipe and related vault and connection work as shown in the contract documents. Construction activities include mobilization, traffic control planning and permitting, potholing, PRV construction, and ductile iron pipe installation. The valve manufacturer must provide factory testing, on-site startup assistance, and training for City personnel. The work will be performed for the Murray City Public Works Department under the terms and conditions set forth in the bidding and contract documents
