The University of Alberta (the University) in Edmonton, Alberta, is the largest post-secondary institution in the province with student enrolment of approximately 40,000 full and part time students of which approximately 80% are undergraduate students and 20% are graduate students. The University offers over 200 undergraduate programs and over 500 graduate programs. The University employs an academic and support staff of approximately 14,500. The University of Alberta is inviting the submission of Proposals to supply a cart-based tunable OPO laser. This purchase is being partially funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the purpose of this RFP is to finalize this grant process and acquire the specified equipment.
