Project Description: The purpose of this project is to procure fixed acoustic leak monitoring system, referred to herein as Hydrant Listening Devices (HLDs), for use throughout EMWD’s water distribution network. The HLD system will enable the EMWD to proactively identify and locate potential water leaks with minimal staff interaction.
EMWD plans to procure approximately 600 to 800 HLDs over the next two years.
