Scope of Services:
The selected operator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Concessions:
Providing a diverse and appealing selection of concession items (e.g., popcorn, candy, bottled beverages, snacks, beer, wine, signature mocktails and cocktails).
Sourcing and maintaining inventory of high-quality products.
Ensuring proper food handling, storage, and hygiene standards (adhering to all local health regulations).
Managing cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all concession areas.
The vendor will provide all necessary concessions and inventory needed.
Bar Services:
The vendor must have a 3-way alcohol permit issued through the State of Indiana to serve beer, wine, and liquor and maintain the permit throughout the length of the contract.
Providing mocktails for all age patrons.
Managing inventory of alcoholic beverages.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all bar areas.
The vendor will provide all necessary drinks and inventory.
Staffing:
Recruiting, training, and managing all concession and bar staff.
Ensuring that enough staff are provided for the downstairs concession area and the upstairs VIP bar at every event.
The applicant will provide the workers with the necessary attire in accordance with the theatre’s dress code.
Ensuring staff are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Adhering to all labor laws and regulations.
Financial Management:
Managing all revenue and expenses associated with concessions and bar operations.
Providing regular financial reports to MET at the end of each event or weekend.
The vendor will receive 80% of the gross profits, with the remaining 20% going to the MET.
Customer Service:
Providing exceptional customer service to all theatre patrons.
Handling patron inquiries and complaints professionally.
Equipment and Maintenance:
The MET will provide all appliances, with the ice machine being leased and maintenance provided by the MET.
Appliances will include a popcorn machine, refrigerator, beer and wine coolers, and an ice machine.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborating with the Martinsville Entertainment Theatre on any promotional activities related to concessions and bar services.
Compliance:
Adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations.
Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage and proper licensing (General liability, liquor liability, workers' compensation, 3-way liquor license, additional license for outside catering for beer, wine, and proper Board of Health licensing). The secondary license to operate off-site MUST include beer, wine, and spirits. This is not the standard beer and wine temporary permit.
