Project Description: Scope of Work:
This open-end contract provides for all labor, materials, equipment, services and coordination required to connect residences within the Broadview Park community to the existing sanitary sewer and abandon the existing septic system in accordance with all applicable State and local codes and requirements. All work requirements and deliverables must comply with the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Standard Grant Agreement for Project Number 23FRP25 under the Broward County North New River Canal Resilience Project (Exhibit 1A - Standard Grant Agreement) and Amendment No. 1 to the FDEP Standard Grant Agreement for Project Number 23FRP25 under the Broward County North New River Canal Resilience Project (Exhibit 1B – Standard Grant Amendment 1). The work consists of executing contracts between Broward County and Property Owners, obtaining Broward County Uniform Building Permits with Septic to Sewer Conversion Certificate, obtaining notarized and recorded Notices of Commencement (if warranted), all necessary plumbing work on private property to make a complete and functional system, making connections to existing sanitary sewer stubs, excavating and backfilling, compaction, disposing of surplus material from trenches, full septic tank abandonments, and all restoration. All coordination required to achieve complete and functional systems shall be the responsibility of Contractor, including all coordination with residents, property owners, and Agencies Having Jurisdiction.

Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the solicitation requirements. Submittals: Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically through Bonfire BPRO and receive a Submission Receipt. It is solely the Vendor’s responsibility to ensure its response is submitted and received through Bonfire BPRO by the closing date and time. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit in advance of the closing date and time. Refer to the Purchasing Division website or contact Bonfire for submittal instructions. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting a document, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Bonfire BPRO for technical assistance.
