The 378th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a brand name procurement action for the procurement of the following items:
The Contractor shall provide the following:
CLIN 0001: SRX-2200 Land Mobile Radio
This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) - “Soliciting from a single source”.
Motorola, LLC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Motorola SRX-2200 radio. Motorola SRX-2200 radio is based on the critical requirement for seamless compatibility with AFCENT-supplied system. These systems necessitate advance features and propriety technologies that only Motorola provides. Compatibility with AFCENT system: The Motorola SRX-2200 is uniquely engineered to integrate with AFCENT's communications infrastructure, ensuring flawless performance and interoperability. Lifecycle and Support: Motorola offers comprehensive support, 3-year warranty, firmware updates, and life-cycle management tailored to the needs of AFCENT system. This is essential for maintain operational readiness.
Due to the specialized requirements of the AFCENT system and Motorola's unique ability to meet these specifications, the Motorola satisfies all operational, technical, and support requirements. This purchase ensures effective communication, enhance operational efficiency, and guarantees system integrity in alignment with AFCENT's mandates.
This is a notice of intent to award a brand name procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge this brand name action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized provider for this equipment. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Thursday, 17 January 2024 at 12:00 GMT+3 to Contracting Officer, SrA Eric Armah at e-mail eric.armah.1@us.af.mil. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 378th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
