This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino to solicit qualified and experienced contractors to provide comprehensive exterior maintenance services for Mendocino County facilities located at 737–747 South State Street, Ukiah, California. The County seeks proposals from vendors capable of delivering reliable, year‑round services including: weekly power sweeping, monthly hot‑water pressure washing, and ongoing landscape and grounds maintenance.

The purpose of this RFP is to establish a service agreement with a contractor who can furnish all necessary supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation required to maintain the designated areas in a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing condition. Services must be performed in accordance with applicable industry standards, environmentally responsible practices, and the specific requirements outlined in the Scope of Work.

The County intends to select the contractor whose proposal best demonstrates the ability to provide consistent, high‑quality services at a competitive cost while ensuring minimal disruption to County operations. Services shall be performed during non‑business hours unless otherwise approved by the County.

Vendor must be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded.

Vendors must submit five (5) copies of their proposal:  four (4) complete paper copies with original Vendor signature, and one (1) complete copy on USB Flash Drive.   The proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP.  Promotional materials may be attached, but are not necessary and will not be considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP.  Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked “Mendocino County RFP No. 027-26”, and delivered by 2:00 p.m. August 3, 2026 to:
