REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Sealed proposals for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado will be received by the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, Colorado 81321, until 3:00 P.M., on Friday, June 27, 2025, at which time proposals will be publicly opened and read.
Furnish and install a new roof with a 20-year NDL Manufacturer Warranty, over the existing Water Plant building at 27999 County Road N, Dolores, as per Plans and Specifications. Scope of work to include removing the existing roof and installing new coverboard, tapered insulation (R-38 equivalent or better), 60 MIL TPO membrane and coping cap metal, new roof drains, new parapet caps, and new edge flashing, along with all manufacturers’ required sealants applicable accessories needed to perform the work. Dispose of all removed materials.
A MANDATORY MEETING and project site visit will be held for all interested vendors on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM and also on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the Water Treatment Plant. Interested vendors can choose which meeting to attend.
Proposals shall be submitted in writing and signed by the bidder or its duly authorized agent. Proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked on the outside with
“PROPOSAL: 2025 WATER PLANT ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT”
and with the bidder’s name.
The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a bid. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any proposal, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all proposals if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
