Description


The Dalton Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking Request for Proposal (RFP¿s) from all
interested, licensed & permitted suppliers for its July 4th, 2025 celebration fireworks show.
Proposals must include the following:
¿ Proposals do not exceed our budget of $35,000.
¿ Copy of license and permit along with a minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance policy.
¿ All parties submitting RFP¿s must be on the City of Dalton Vendor list.
¿ Show begins at approximately 9:30 pm on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at North Georgia AG Fairgrounds. 500

¿ Display lasting for a minimum of 20 minutes and must be aerial.
¿ Minimum shell size of 3 inches to 6 inches. 2 inches and smaller shells will be considered as filler.
¿ Include at least three references of completing similar shows. Please include reference contact
information.
¿ We are asking for 5 test shots to be shot at the show location to help evaluate site lines for spectators.
The evaluation Criteria and Selection process will be as follows:
¿ Responsiveness: The City will consider the materials submitted by the Offeror to determine whether the
Offeror is in compliance with the RFP. (10 points)
¿ Show Content: Creativity, variety, content and length of the show. Review of the detailed show
description. Preview of show. (30 points)
¿ Responsibility: The City will consider the qualifications submitted by the Offeror and other evidence it
may obtain to determine the company¿s ability and history of successfully completing contracts of this
type, meeting projected deadlines and experience with similar shows. (20 points)
¿ Cost of Services: (40 points)

30720, and marked ¿Dalton Parks- Fireworks RFP¿. All proposals must be received by Wednesday, January
15, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
