The Virginia Department of Transportation herein referred to as ?VDOT? is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide on an ?as-needed? basis, specified crews to perform emergency clearing, cut and toss, of vegetative debris from VDOT right-of- way, generated by snowstorms, ice storms, tornadoes, floods, preventative maintenance operations, or any other event as designated by VDOT. The service shall be performed on primary and secondary routes, on VDOT facilities and /or VDOT leased property within the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery and Pulaski located within the Christiansburg Residency.
