Program Year (PY) 2026 New Construction Development of County Owned Affordable Housing Infill Property

Project Description: The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (County) is seeking qualifications and competitive sealed proposals from non-profit and for-profit entities and developers with experience developing affordable housing for certain County-owned property currently listed on the County’s Inventory of Real Property Appropriate for Affordable Housing, established pursuant to Florida Statute sec. 125.379, and located within the boundaries of unincorporated Hillsborough County, including Temple Terrace and Plant City. Forty (40) of the properties on the Inventory are available through this RFP; the list of available properties is set forth in the RFP. Only designated properties as reflected in the RFP are available for proposers to submit development proposals under this Request for Proposals (RFP). Any property not included in the RFP is not available for redevelopment. The project's estimate is $6,000,000.00
