2026 Road Paving

Project Description: Price Township, Monroe County will receive sealed bids online for “2026 Road Paving” on various roads in Price Township until 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed bids shall be submitted electronically via the PennBid Program. All document and solicitation details are available online for no cost at PennBid – https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PennDOT Prequalified. The work consists of 1731 Tons of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course, PG64S-22, 0 to .3 Million ESALs, 9.5 MM Mix, 1 ½” Depth, SRL-L.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Price township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract.

Price Township intends to award at the Township Supervisors Meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2026 @ 6:00 p.m., however the township reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Municipality.
